Golfers finish first at Allegan Jamboree, take lead in Wolverine Conference

Golfers start season with a pair of second place finishes

The Eddies golfers opened up the 2018 season by placing second at both Wolverine Confernece Jamborees this week. On Tuesday at Angels Crossing in Vicksburg the Eddies fired a 176, three strokes behind Plainwell.  Lee Ackerson shot 43 to lead the Eddies, he was followed by Satchel Pierce (44), Brayden Bell (44), David Kanczuzewski (45)

Carter Goodson shoots 68 at Otsego & Plainwell Jamboree

Carter Goodson shot an outstanding score of 4 under par 68 on Wednesday as the Eddies played an 18 hole Wolverine Conference jamboree at Lake Doster Golf Club in Plainwell.  Lake Doster is the home course for both Otsego and Plainwell so teams competed on both nine’s in the day long competition. The opening jamboree for the Wolverine Conference West Division golf season was hosted by Coloma on Monday at Lake Michigan Hills Golf Course.
