The varsity baseball team grabbed two nice wins at Portage Central Saturday, winning 10-4 and 8-2. Tate Obren, Alex Castelucci and Andrew Rudolf each had 2 hits, while Connor Fischer, Jaxon Rinehart and Austin Leak all hit Portage pitching as well, while Brayden Fischer got the win (1-0). Fischer was replaced by Nick Springer after 3 innings of work, the latter tallied 7 strike outs in his 3 innings before Andrew Rudolf closed out the game in the final inning. Game two was more of the same for the Eddies as Alex Castelucci took the mound and went all seven innings and picked up a win (1-0). Jaxson Rinehart had 3 hits Connor Fischer 2, as the Eddies won the day. Edwardsburg moved to 6-1 overall and is scheduled to host Paw Paw for a DH on Tuesday 4/14/26 at 4pm.
