Tuesday night at home, the varsity boys basketball had another nail-biter against strong opponent, and came up just short in overtime against Lakeshore HS (50-56). Back & forth the whole way, The Lancers shot 57% from behind the arc to help carry their effort. One of those Lancer three's came from 7 feet behind the arc with 11 seconds left, that tied the game. The Eddies couldn't find the bottom of the net in overtime and moved to 13-8 heading into Friday night's home clash with Vicksburg. Blaise Crist led the Eddies with 15 points, while Michael Wright added 9 and Reed Gates 8 points. Tip off Friday is scheduled for 7pm following the varsity girls game at 5:30. Friday is the annual winter sports coming home celebration, plan a fun family evening & come out to support the Eddies!
