Varsity Girls Basketball

The Lady Eddies varsity basketball team played a back-to-back game last night against Three Rivers. The teams were knotted up 8-8 after one and 19-19 after two quarters. The Wildcats clawed their way to an 18-8 advantage in the third quarter, taking a 37-27 lead into the 4th. The Eddies fought valiantly, but unfortunately fell a little bit short, 44-41. Shelby Laubach led the Eddies with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals, 3 assists, and 4 blocked shots. Kya Shier added 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Liyah Worthington 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks, Shyann Thomas-Flanery 4 rebounds and Mallory Schrock had 3 steals. The Eddies go on the road Friday night, for a conference game at Vicksburg. Go Eddies!
