Edwardsburg High School

Saturday afternoon December 20th the Chieftains from Dowagiac traveled to Edwardsburg for a boy / girl double-header. The girls started off strong taking a 12-0 lead to finish the first quarter, but the lady Chieftains stormed back to only trail by two points at the half. Play was even in the third quarter until a ten point surge thanks to Kya Shier lay-up, and two three-point baskets and lay-up off a break away steal by Shelby Laubach. The run powered a big win for the Lady Eddies 43-29. Shelby Laubach led all scores with 23 points on 10/19 shooting, 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Kya Shier followed with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The Lady Eddies go on the road to Schoolcraft Tuesday December 30th for their final game of 2025. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm following the JV game at 5:30
