Multiple Teams · Savannah Dixon scores 1,000th career point

On Friday, February 10th Eddies senior Savannah Dixon became the first female basketball player in Edwardsburg High School history to score 1,000 points. Dixon who entered the game needing 16 points, scored 12 in the first half and then quickly recorded 4 points early in the third quarter to eclipse the 1,000 point milestone.  She finished with a team high 22 points as the Eddies recorded a 63-28 victory over South Haven to move their record to 13-2 on the season, including 6-0 in the Wolverine Conference South Division.

Dixon is the 5th Eddie to accomplish this prestigous benchmark, joining Josh Kozinski (1,580), Kevin Marvel (1,349), Glen Houser (1,232) and Brett Hoover (1,217).
